Why and on what basis
We use information to register and authenticate users, deliver courses, assess learning, communicate service messages, support learners, safeguard the platform and meet legitimate church governance or legal duties. Registration consent supports the voluntary learning service; some security and record-keeping processing is necessary for legitimate interests or legal compliance.
Who may access it
Learners see their own profile, courses and results. Facilitators see information needed for assigned learning and assessment. Administrators manage accounts and platform operations. Hosting, email and technical providers may process limited information under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as required for the learning programme, safeguarding, accountability and applicable legal duties. Access is role-based; passwords are hashed; reset links are time-limited; administrative actions are logged; and production traffic uses HTTPS. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, deletion where legally available, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent for optional processing, or information about recipients. See the privacy rights and requests page for the process and complaint channels.
Changes
Material changes will be dated and communicated where appropriate. The version accepted at registration is retained for accountability.
